Piazza Blue Soap

Piazza Blue with Goat Milk

A 2016 article from Charleston Magazine explains that 'Piazza' is a 17th century Italian term meaning 'open space'. "The idea that piazza ceilings were painted light blue due to the Gullah belief that the color warded off evil spirits (or "haints") is more fable than fact". "Piazza Blue" likely resulted from a desire to use a light, reflective hue to visually open the enclosed space, coupled with the availability of blue dye made from the indigo plant - a prized commodity in 18th century Charleston." This soap has a sweet gardenia scent.

Ingredients:

Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Fresh Goat Milk, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Sodium Lactate, Silk Fibers, Titanium Dioxide, Mica, Chromium Oxide Green.
